GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS


  1. Key Customer Information (Summary)
  2. Your application shall be processed through licensed insurance agent/intermediary. iAssist Singapore does not underwrite or issue policies. Their role is limited to digital marketing and help in query resolution for the Campus Health platform, which is developed by Golden Sunrise and distributed under license by iAssist Singapore. If application is accepted by insurer, then customer pays the premium directly to the insurer/intermediary bank account. You have 14 days to withdraw, unless the policy has already started. Policy cancellations due to Visa rejections may be refunded with appropriate documentation. Data is processed as per GDPR. Refunds are subject to admin and payment gateway charges.

  3. Definitions

    For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions:

  4. iAssist refers to iAssist Singapore, operating as a licensed distributor of the Campus Health technology platform (developed by Golden Sunrise), providing digital marketing and technology services.
  5. Licensed Insurance Distributor refers to an individual and/or entity authorised and registered to distribute insurance products in accordance with applicable regulations.
  6. Customer refers to any natural person using the platform for purposes not primarily related to their trade, business, or profession.
  7. Insurance Provider means the insurer underwriting the policy, selected and contracted by the customer.
  8. Service Fee means the partially refundable amount payable to iAssist Singapore (as set out in Section 4.2) for application support, query resolution and connection to the Licensed Distributor.
  9. Insurance Premium means the amount payable directly by the Customer to the licensed Distributor or insurer for the insurance cover, which iAssist Singapore does not collect.
  10. Website means https://campushealth.in and any successor URL.

  11. 3. Scope of Application
  12. Unless otherwise specified, these General Terms and Conditions of iAssist Singapore apply to all offers made by iAssist Singapore for the application of health and assistance products listed by licensed partners on the online purchase website https://campushealth.in. The customer has the opportunity to find various health insurance and assistance products from different insurance companies and submit applications online. These General Terms and Conditions apply exclusively if the customer is a consumer. A consumer is any natural person who concludes a legal transaction for a purpose not primarily related to commercial or professional activity.

    iAssist Singapore operates solely as a technology and marketing service provider for licensed insurance intermediaries, distributing the Campus Health platform developed by Golden Sunrise. We do not broker, underwrite, or administer insurance policies, nor guarantee acceptance of any application. All insurance contracts are concluded directly between the customer and the licensed intermediary/insurer.

    For any regulation or license requirement, please write to the licensed intermediaries. In the event of a claim or dispute, customers must contact the licensed intermediary directly as stated in these Terms.

  15. 5. Role of iAssist Singapore & Licensed Distribution Partners
  16. iAssist Singapore does not underwrite, issue, or administer any insurance product, nor does it offer insurance advice. All insurance applications, premium payments, policy documentation, claims handling, and product advice are performed exclusively by licensed distributors or insurers.

  17. 6. Insurance Contract
  18. iAssist Singapore provides customers with free, non-binding information on insurance rates and conditions.
  19. iAssist Singapore uses its online application portal to support health insurance applications through the Campus Health platform.
  20. After selecting a health plan, the customer initiates the application by clicking the payment button. Upon payment, iAssist Singapore provides support services.
  21. iAssist Singapore assists customers with application forms which are forwarded to licensed intermediaries.
  22. The insurer alone determines whether to accept the customer's application.
  23. If the proposal is approved, customers must pay premiums directly to the insurer or licensed intermediary.
  24. If iAssist Singapore's payment gateway is used, amounts may be temporarily collected and then transferred to the licensed partner.
  25. Customers must verify all data before payment—especially spelling, dates, and policy period.
  26. Restrictions may apply to changing the insurance period; customers must read all policy terms.
  27. After service fee payment, the application form must be emailed to info@CampusHealth.in.
  28. Insurers may take up to 15 days to issue the policy after premium payment.
  29. iAssist Singapore stores contract coordination data only. Personal data is deleted after the policy decision except minimal required records.

  30. 7. Payment, Prices and Invoicing
  31. Service fee payments are made via Stripe.
  32. Payment Structure
    1. Service Fee: €200 + 5% of insurer cost (non-refundable).
    2. Premiums: paid directly to licensed intermediaries unless using iAssist Singapore gateway.
    3. If rejected by insurer:
  33. Stripe gateway fees deducted, Initial payment deducted, Premiums are not refunded by iAssist Singapore. When paying via Stripe, the payment claim transfers to Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., and required payment data is shared with them. Failure to provide required data prevents contract completion. Refer to Stripe’s privacy policy for details. All prices are in Euros and include taxes.

    No contradictory national laws

    Customers must ensure they are legally permitted to purchase health insurance outside their home country. iAssist Singapore is not responsible for checking compliance with national laws.

    Insurance products are not available to residents of:

    1. Countries under EU/U.S. sanctions (e.g., Russia, Iran).

    2. Jurisdictions prohibiting cross-border insurance.

    3. Licensed partners may cancel policies violating this clause.

    Anti-Money Laundering & Know-Your-Customer

    AML/KYC checks are conducted by the licensed distributor/insurer, not iAssist Singapore. Customers must contact the Licensed Distributor for queries related to AML/KYC.

    Product Pricing

    iAssist Singapore strives to ensure all displayed insurance rates are updated and accurate, but does not guarantee completeness. Customers must independently assess insurance company risks.

    Rejected Application

    Customers may cancel the service contract per insurer policy terms. Requests must be emailed to info@CampusHealth.in. If a visa application is rejected, customer may apply for cancellation within 10 days of official notice by submitting the rejection letter.Refund = Premium Paid – (Euro 50 + 4% fees) – Non-refundable services. Processed within 10 business days. iAssist Singapore may reduce charges based on case merit.Service Fee refunds (when insurer rejects application) = Service Fee – Stripe fees – €50 administration.

  34. Liability of iAssist Singapore
  35. Exclusions or limitations of liability also apply to employees, agents, and representatives. iAssist Singapore is not liable for product suitability, insurer decisions, visa rejection, or coverage accuracy. Liability is limited to direct damages caused by gross negligence or wilful misconduct, not exceeding the service fee paid. All claims and servicing issues are strictly between customer, insurer, and licensed intermediary. Customer agrees to hold iAssist Singapore harmless from such liabilities.

  37. The website may contain links to third-party websites. iAssist Singapore is not responsible for their content.

  38. Data Protection
  39. Roles & Legal Basis

    iAssist Singapore acts as Data Processor under instructions of Licensed Distributors (Data Controllers). Data is processed only to facilitate insurance applications.The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR — performance of contract.

    International Transfers & Safeguards

    Data may be transferred to Singapore using Standard Contractual Clauses. By accepting these terms, customer consents to such transfers.

    Data Retention

  40. Force Majeure
  41. iAssist Singapore is not liable for events beyond reasonable control: natural disasters, strikes, cyber attacks, government actions, pandemics, etc.

  42. Amendments
  43. Terms may be updated anytime with 14-day prior notice via email or website. Continued use of services = acceptance of updated terms.

  44. Applicable Law & Dispute Resolution
  45. Insurance-related disputes follow applicable jurisdiction laws and must be directed to licensed intermediaries.Singapore law applies to disputes regarding iAssist Singapore’s service. EU customers: governed by applicable jurisdiction & mandatory consumer laws. Non-EU customers: governed by Singapore law.If any clause is invalid, remaining clauses remain enforceable.

  46. Non-Refundability of Part Payment to iAssist Singapore
  47. Once the insurer issues the policy, any payment made to iAssist Singapore is fully earned and non-refundable, regardless of later cancellation or termination. Premium refunds (if applicable) are handled solely by the insurer.

  48. Miscellaneous Clause
  49. 1. No Advice
    iAssist Singapore does not provide insurance advice.Customers must consult licensed intermediaries.
    2. iAssist Singapore Fees
    Fees = 5% of premium + €200.
    3. Policy Accuracy
    Premium quotes are estimates; final premium depends on insurer evaluation.
    4. Claims Liability
    iAssist Singapore is not involved in claim processing.
    5. Right of Withdrawal
    Customers may withdraw within 14 days if coverage has not started. Refund = service fee – gateway charges – admin fee – used services.
    6. Cookies & Tracking
    Uses cookies for analytics and marketing. Non-essential cookies may be rejected.
    7. Entire Agreement
    These Terms supersede all previous agreements.
    8. No Reliance
    Customer agrees they have not relied on external representations.
    9. Notices
    Notices must be emailed to info@CampusHealth.in.Considered received after 2 business days.
    10. Assignment
    Customer may not transfer rights without written consent.iAssist Singapore may assign to affiliates or successors.
